The Senator II passenger bus was built on a Chev G4500 chassis. It was delivered to Cape Breton Regional Municipality, in Sydney Nova Scotia. It will be used primarily for paratransit transportation as well as seated occupants for the community. The wheelchair lift is located near the front entry door, and holds up to 1,000 lbs in capacity. It permits up to 6 wheelchair occupants, or alternatively up to 16 seated occupants, or a combination of both, using foldaway seating. The wheelchair occupant restraint system is Q’Straint L tracks throughout the bus with QRT belts.
