It was a phenomenal event at the Ontario Transportation Expo (OTE) this year, and we were excited to connect with our customers, partners, and make some new acquaintances along the way. Events like OTE are always a great reminder of how strong and collaborative the transportation community is here in Ontario.
The industry continues to evolve at a steady pace, with operators facing increasing demand for accessible, reliable, and efficient fleet solutions. At the same time, longer lead times and ongoing supply chain considerations mean that planning ahead has never been more important. Whether you are refreshing your fleet or expanding services, having a clear procurement strategy in place can make all the difference in staying ahead of operational needs.
This year, we brought two vehicles with us to showcase. First, our high-floor bus, the classic StarTrans Senator II, a trusted staple known for its durability and performance. Alongside it, we introduced the new kid on the block, the Gamechanger by Forest River Van.
The Gamechanger certainly lived up to its name. Between its available all-wheel drive, a 34 by 54-inch wheelchair side-lift, transit-style bus door, and a chassis equipped with adaptive cruise control and lane protection, it sparked a lot of interest throughout the day.
We were also proud to sponsor the coffee station this year, a popular stop for attendees looking for a quick caffeine boost and a chance to recharge between conversations. It gave us another opportunity to connect with people in a relaxed setting, which is always one of the highlights of the show.
Of course, OTE is not just about showcasing our own vehicles. It is also about staying connected with our valued partners.
We made sure to stop by and see what companies like Freedman Seating, Q’Straint, and Gerflor were presenting. Keeping up with the latest innovations from our partners helps ensure we are continuously offering the best and most up-to-date solutions to our customers.
Overall, OTE 2026 was a great success, and we are already looking forward to next year. If you did not get a chance to connect with us at the show, feel free to reach out. We would be happy to continue the conversation and help you plan your fleet for the road ahead.
